November 20, 2008 HSA-SB Membership Minutes Summary
In my final remarks as Commodore, well… past commodore actually, I want to thank Chip Jones for
taking on the position of Commodore. Chip is new blood to the club and I had the pleasure of meeting
him and his wife while sharing an anchorage at the Concrete Ships. This club consist of great folks and I
know that we will give him all the support he needs to keep us active and on the water.
I also want to thank Larry Griffin and Ron McCoy for all their encouragement and groundwork that led
to such a successful meeting and transition. As a group we have selected a new Commodore and new web master assistants. We put
together tentative 2009 cruise plan, and shored up our officers in their current positions so HSA-SB has
a way forward to a bright future”.

Welcome To Our: Hunter Sailing Association Southern Bay
On behalf of the Hunter Sailing Association - Southern Bay I welcome you to our boating family. We are a friendly group of Hunter owners with diverse backgrounds, interests and skills and a common goal of cruising for fun.
The Southern Bay organization formed a few years ago and was somewhat inactive last year. We recently met, selected officers and developed an active cruising schedule for 2009. As we get geared up for the 2009 season we will be finagling the schedule and collecting modest membership dues to help pay for activities during our cruises.
The cruising schedule extends throughout the year with a variety of activities. Our website www.hsa-sb.org is filled with useful information and enjoyable photographs. Our communications team is working on updating the web page. We should have a current list of members and the 2009 cruising schedule posted soon.
